Synopsis

This film looks through uses for a method of animation called IPad Light Painting. The creators use photographic and animation techniques that were developed to draw moving 3-dimensional typography and objects with an iPad. In dark rooms or at night, they play movies on the surface of the iPad that extrude 3-D light forms as they move through the exposure. Multiple exposures with slightly different movies make up the stop-frame animation. Most of the movie I've shown is an example of this amazing technology.

The action takes place in 2008, in England.

Characters

The characters are the two people who were interviewed at the start of the movie. They are probably the creators of this method of animation. They gave a brief description of what they were doing with the animation.

Conclusion

The message being portrayed here is that technology can take us anywhere, and is always open to new ideas. The director's intention with the film is to raise awareness about how fast the human race is advancing, and what new technology will likely make an appearance very soon.

My opinion on this film is that the technology may be advancing quickly, but many touch-ups still need to be made, and other elements to the animation may be introduced also. We can't just jump right into this branch of technology without taking into account the risks. This, I believe, is a fatal flaw for the human race. How is writing with light going to bring about the end of the human race? Explain.
